What is Grunt Work?

Grunt work is exactly what it sounds like. There’s no tricks or easy way out. It’s building character and fitness one day at a time.



It’s a training program that focuses on building overall strength, midline stability, joint health, and endurance through movements like carries, static holds, odd object lifts, and prolonged duration efforts under a variety of loadings.

It can easily complement any existing fitness program or serve as a stand-alone option.

Can this program be used as an accessory program or stand-alone option?

Yes on both! This program is perfect for anyone looking to supplement their existing fitness program with odd object movement and workouts. It fills the gap we often miss in other fitness programs. It can also serve as a stand-alone option that will give you tremendous results for ANY endeavor.

How much programming will I be able to see at a time?

We release one week of programming at a time. You’ll be able to see the following week’s on Thursday the week before.

How long are the workouts?

Grunt Work training can be 30-90 minutes long depending on the workout of the day.

What equipment will I need?

We got you covered! Check out our blog post, Grunt Work Equipment, to learn what you’ll need. We’ve listed options from Rogue as well as some alternatives that you can grab from your local hardware store.

How many training days a week are there?

We program six training days a week. Four of them are workouts that consists of odd object lifts, carries, static holds, etc., and the other two days are “long rucks.” If you’re using this as an accessory program, you can sub out the long rucks if needed.

There’s no specific weights listed in the programming. How do I know what weight to do?

We don’t program specific weights in our workouts because we want to give you the chance to push yourself. But we will list how heavy it should feel – light, moderate, heavy. To learn what these specific categories mean, visit our blog post Weights Explaining – Light, Moderate, Heavy.

Payment Information

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards. Cards must be enabled for recurring e-commerce transactions to work with Grunt Work.

If you have a prepaid card with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express logo, you can enter your card’s information on our payment page. If the bank that issued the card approves our authorization request, we will accept this card for payment.

How do I update my payment information?

Sign in to the Grunt Work website and visit your account to update your Grunt Work payment information.

How do I see my Grunt Work billing history or monthly invoice?

If you would like to see your billing history, click on Subscription Details from your Account page. You can also select individual dates to see and print that month’s invoice.

How do I change my billing date?

To change your billing date, you’ll need to communicate to us directly in order to make those changes for you manually.

Future payments will be processed based on the new payment date selected.

Are there any additional fees associated with the monthly charge?

Grunt Work only charges the monthly subscription fee, which may or may not include local tax depending on your location. Some financial institutions add additional transaction fees for foreign transactions. These fees are charged by your bank, so if you have questions, please contact your financial institution.

Why am I seeing a message that there’s a problem with my payment method?

Grunt Work was unable to collect a payment because the card issuer or financial institution rejected the monthly charge. To resolve the issue, sign in to your Grunt Work account and update or change your payment method. We will verify the new information, and notify you as soon as the payment is successful.

If you’re still having trouble updating your account with new payment information, you may want to reach out to your card issuer or financial institution to ensure the payment information is up to date and supports e-commerce transactions.

Why am I seeing multiple charges on my statement?

We will only charge you once a month (or yearly) for a Grunt Work subscription. If you see more charges than you expected, you may be seeing a temporary authorization. We will send an authorization whenever you open a new account or update your payment information. If you did not recently open an account or update your payment information, check your statements for previous unexpected charges. If you have verified with your financial institution that they are actual charges, please start a Live Chat or Call Us so we can help you investigate.
